The project duration will mostly depend on the scope of work and additional revisions. Generally speaking, standard projects that involve visual identity usually take up anywhere from 2 weeks up to a month. There is always a rough timeline included in the project proposal.
I offer services ranging from logo design, style guide, stationery design, web-design, social media designs, type creation and simple motion graphics. These can be packaged together as 'visual identity design' depending on the brand and requirements. I also have hands-on experience developing websites in Webflow (This website was designed and built from scratch by me).
The cost for a design project is highly variable, depending on the client, the objective, the scope of work and special requirements. Only after discussing these, I can propose a quote for the project. You can also request an estimate at any time, by putting your details and questions in the message box.
After getting in touch, we can schedule a call to discuss your business and project terms such as the scope of work, timeline, and cost. If there is a fit, you will receive a project proposal document that summarizes the project, and outlines a few legal terms. You will then receive an invoice for a 50% upfront deposit. When this is paid, the project officially starts and you will be involved and updated about important milestones.
The client is responsible for providing information that guides the project strategically. Ideally, the client should be able to talk about their brand's strategy in detail (purpose, target audience, values etc.) and have a clear goal for the design. This, and prompt communication will make every project into a success!
The best way to reduce any risks of dissatisfaction, is to approach every project objectively with a clear goal in mind. A mood board will be created early-on based on the tone of voice which helps get a shared understanding of the general direction. It can still happen that revisions to the work are desired. The amount of revisions can be discussed in advance to include in the package.
